Production Log 19
During my lesson today I finalised my colour scheme and
sizes for my cover and sell lines, I also added one more cover line furthermore
I added a sticker like circle to add a more of a realistic effect. I have also
made the TUA on the masthead a lot smaller so it fits comfortably into the V on
Vibe.
On my contents page I imported a picture of my magazine
front cover to make it seem more realistic and also I resized some photos to
add more effect to them.

Production Log 17
During this lesson on one of my feature article pages I
added a tour dates box which explains all the arenas that Brett will be playing
in the upcoming months, furthermore I added a circle again to make it seem like
a sticker also I made the quotation in the article a lot bigger for more of an
effect. I decided to delete a picture of my main artist holding a guitar
because it didn’t add anything and made my other two pictures a lot bigger.
I also altered the font styles on my magazine from Komika
axis to Impact to give my magazine a more professional look and sharper images
which is the ‘vibe’ I’m trying to create which reflects the rock/pop genre of
music. Also I have only used three main colours rather than four.
I have also added a new page to my magazine it is an
introduction to my feature article, it has a picture of my main artist pointing
his guitar at the audience to engage them and interest them into reader the
article. The picture takes up the whole page to add even more of an effect and
to be able to see his facial expressions a lot more as it is close up of him.

Production Log 16
During my lesson today I continued to edit and improve my
pictures which I will use in my magazine. I did this by using the programme
called Photoshop.
I deleted backgrounds from the pictures meaning it left a plain white background which looks more proffesional than photos with a dark shadow etc.
I also deleted very fine detail on pictures which before made an impact on the picture whereas now the picture looks a lot better and of a higher quality.
These new and improved photos have been added to my magazine and gives a overall better look to it.
